The Works Brings Wow! Factor to Aylesbury
Waffles and crepes, savoury or sweet with handmade ice cream

It’s a tough job – but somebody has to do it. New Exciting Restaurant Chain to Launch in Aylesbury. Family members behind the new eatery sensation ‘The Works’ have travelled far and wide to find fresh ideas and inspiration to guarantee a ‘Wow’ factor at their new restaurant at the top of Market Square. ‘Gaffer’ Roger Bolton and his ‘Ice Maiden’ wife Elaine recently visited Italy to find out how to make the best handmade ice cream. Roger explains that “We’ve perfected the recipe now using great natural ingredients. I think everyone will love it.”

Elaine says, “We’ve just been so busy. Every minute has been filled with looking for new ideas to ensure the absolute best for our guests. People will feel the energy and the passion when we open for business.”

Set to open its doors at the end of October, The Works will serve delicious savoury
and sweet waffles and crepes, with sensational and ‘quirky’ fillings, handmade ice cream, sundaes and hot desserts, all served with a Wow! factor. A Brunch menu will be on offer daily before 11:30am whilst The Works’ milkshakes, premium coffees and teas, sparkling wines and syrup sodas will also feature on the menu.
The Works will have an exciting urban factory feel (hence the name) in its fit out whilst offering all day dining to bring an extra dimension to Aylesbury’s growing food scene. It will be the perfect venue to sit and chat, take the family, celebrate with friends or organize meetings – try some great food and drink; with a difference.

The Boltons, who live in Weston Turville near Aylesbury, have been devising the venture for a decade and have decided to open the first of what they hope will be many outlets nationwide at the top of Aylesbury’s Market Square.

“We wanted to do something a bit different and give something back to the town” says ‘Logistics Man’ Tom ‘Billy’ Bolton, who went to school in Aylesbury. “We love freshly made food and have always dreamt about making a career with it, so we set out to create the sort of venue that we would love to go to. Quality ingredients are so important and we also have a unique waffle making machine too – but I can’t tell you too much, it’s a bit of a trade secret! You’ll just have to come in and see for yourselves.”
